Bridget Nesko Memorial Courage Award
The Bridget Nesko Memorial Nursing Faculty Excellence Courage Award was established in 2023 by Kevin Nesko to provide scholarship support for expenses associated with licenses and/or board exams for graduating undergraduate or graduate students receiving their degree from the School of Nursing. Award recipients may be either full-time or part-time students and may be in-state or out-of-state residents. Students must be in the final year of their degree program and graduating from the University with their degree and must demonstrate an ability to overcome adversity to complete or finalize pursuing a degree. Examples of adversity may include, but are not limited to the financial, emotional, and social challenges resulting from divorce, family illness or other similar demonstrable personal challenges. This scholarship is not renewable.
