Hazel and Peterson Scholarship

The Hazel and Peterson Scholarship was established in 2024 by Dr. and Mrs. Gregory Washington in honor of the Hazel and Peterson families’ longstanding commitment to the continued success and growth of George Mason University to provide scholarship support to undergraduate students enrolled in the Costello College of Business who are pursuing a minor in Real Estate Development. Recipients may be full-time or part-time students and must be graduates from a high school in Northern Virginia located within fifty miles of the University’s Fairfax campus. Recipients will qualify on the basis of academic merit with a 3.0 minimum GPA. This scholarship is renewable.
