Douglas and Mariana Brook Education Endowed Scholarship

The Douglas and Mariana Brook Education Endowed Scholarship was established in 2017 by Douglas A. Brook, PhD ‘01, and Mrs. Mariana P. Brook, MEd ’94, to provide scholarship support for undergraduate students who are formally enrolled in the Bachelor’s/Accelerated MEd program and graduate students who are pursuing a master’s degree in education. Recipients must be pursuing a degree or licensure in secondary, elementary, or early childhood education. Preference will be given to students who are switching careers to enter the teaching field, or who have previously completed a Bachelor’s/Accelerated Master’s pathway at Mason. Additionally, preference will be given to students interested in teaching history or social studies at the elementary or secondary level.
