Purcellian Scholarship for Linguistics

The Purcellian Scholarship for Linguistics was established in 2023 by Jared Purcell to provide scholarship support for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Linguistics. Undergraduate applicants must be pursuing a BA in English with a concentration in Linguistics, or any other undergraduate degree offered by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences with a minor in Linguistics. Graduate applicants must be pursuing an MA, Graduate Certificate or PhD in Linguistics. Scholarship recipients may be full-time or part time students and may be in-state or out-of-state students. Recipients will qualify on the basis of academic merit. Preference will be given to undergraduates with financial need. This scholarship is renewable and will be awarded annually.
