Catherine "Cathy" Belter Memorial Endowed Fellowship
The Catherine “Cathy” Belter Memorial Fellowship Endowment was established in 2012 by Leonard Belter in memory of his wife Cathy Belter. Mrs. Belter devoted her life to education and was deeply involved in grassroots lobbying efforts to increase funding for education for all American schoolchildren. This fellowship is for students pursuing graduate licensure or a degree within the College of Education and Human Development. Applicants must have a 3.0 or greater GPA with documented financial need. Applicants must be employed in the Fairfax County Public School system and demonstrate a commitment to the teaching profession and the field of education.
