Encore Learning Endowed Scholarship in Honor of John T. McCracken Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Encore Learning – McCracken Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2005 by multiple donors and Encore Learning, Inc. (formerly known as the Arlington Learning in Retirement Institute) in memory of John T. McCracken, an Arlington County, Virginia civic activist and founder of the institute. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to undergraduates who are Arlington residents and graduates of an Arlington public or private high school. Recipients will qualify on the basis of academic merit and financial need, and preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate community and civic commitment in Arlington County, VA.
