John Souza, III Endowed Scholarship

The John Souza, III Endowed Scholarship was established in 2004 in memory of John Souza by his wife, Michele T. Frey (formerly Souza), BIS ’02. Mr. Souza was an Army veteran with a deep passion for the simple pleasures found in spending time in nature. Ms. Frey was a member of staff at the university. The fund supports scholarships for full-time undergraduates pursuing a degree in environmental science and policy. Applicants should have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need.
