Dorothy S. and N. Hugh McDiarmid Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1997 by the Women’s Advisory Board and funded by multiple donors as a memorial tribute to the Honorable Dorothy S. McDiarmid, a long-time member of the Virginia House of Delegates, and her husband, N. Hugh McDiarmid, a real estate developer. The fund supports scholarships for undergraduates majoring in the areas of science, business, engineering, or technology who have demonstrated financial need.
