Ashley C. Payton Memorial Scholarship

The Ashley C. Payton Memorial Scholarship was established in 2019 to provide support for graduate students pursuing a master’s degree in social work within the College of Public Health. Applicants should submit an essay detailing their interest in the homeless population and/or mental health care and describe how this scholarship would have an impact on their education. Applicants must demonstrate involvement and/or participation in encouraging minority students to enter the field of social work. Recipients will qualify on the basis of financial need and academic merit (minimum GPA of 3.2). In-state or Out of state.
