Shrivastava GovCon Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student who has started or wishes to start a company which provides services or products to support a federal, state, or local governmental agency or mission and who is enrolled in the School of Business at the University. Preference will be given to students running an existing, early-stage firm that provides solutions to a Federal agency. In addition, preference will be given for solutions addressing needs on a national scale with regard to citizen services or national security. Recipients will be invited to participate in the School of Business’ Innovation Lab for one year and will receive a mentor appointed by the School of Business’ Government Contracting Initiative advisory board for two years. Recipients may be an undergraduate or graduate student and a part-time or full-time student but must be an in-state student. Recipient will qualify on basis of both academic merit and financial aid, along with the above mentioned criteria.
